Destiny 2 Raid LFG on Discord: Keep Guardians on Maybe
You lock in a Saturday raid night, but your usual six Guardians rarely confirm at the same time. One of them can only say "maybe, if work ends early." Keep that reply on the post as Maybe instead of losing it, and let a full fireteam pull from an auto-promoting waitlist when someone drops. Monvoke's /invoke handles the whole thing inside Discord, from posting the LFG to pulling everyone into a voice channel once the team is set.
Destiny 2 already has Fireteam Finder for matching with random Guardians. But when you want to run with people you already play with, setting the raid up in your own Discord first is faster.
Post the raid with a start time, and let people lock in ahead
Set a start time on /invoke and the post keeps taking sign-ups until that moment. Posting a Saturday 9pm Vault of Glass run this way gives Guardians something to confirm against instead of a loose "who's on tonight" message.
Put the raid name in the title so anyone scrolling past knows what it's for at a glance. The post closes itself once the fireteam is full, so nobody has to recount heads on the day.
Let unsure Guardians reply Maybe instead of going silent
A few Guardians usually lock in right away, but the last spot often depends on someone's shift ending on time. Their "maybe" reply doesn't have to disappear. Tapping Maybe keeps them on the post without counting toward the fireteam size.
Once confirmed and maybe sign-ups together reach the target, Monvoke DMs the Maybe Guardians to ask if they can make it. Everyone else's spot stays put while that DM is out, so you're not chasing people down individually to check.
Fill drops from a waitlist, automatically
Sometimes another Guardian asks to join after the fireteam is already full. Put them on the waitlist instead of turning them away outright. If a confirmed member drops out last minute, whoever's at the top of the waitlist gets promoted to a confirmed spot automatically.
That means nobody has to go hunting for a replacement the moment someone cancels, and a full fireteam doesn't mean every latecomer is out of luck.
Pull the team into a voice channel once it's set
Once the fireteam is confirmed, the host can create a dedicated voice channel straight from the LFG post's VC Actions menu. It can even go up before the post fills, so there's somewhere to talk while you're still waiting on the last spot. Anyone who joins later gets access to that channel automatically, so callouts and role talk don't need a separate channel hunt.
Who this fits
This setup fits servers running weekly raid nights, where people's schedules rarely line up perfectly in advance. The less predictable your roster is from week to week, the more the Maybe button and waitlist end up doing.
